Georgian architecture is defined by the desire for symmetry with the proportions based on the classical architecture of Greece and Rome. In a number of towns that expanded rapidly during the Georgian period, property developers started building rows of homogenous houses and this style spread globally. A number of these beautiful homes were demolished over the years but cities such as London, Edinburgh, Bristol and Newcastle have retained plenty of examples that allow Period Moulding to revive these designs.
A solid lipped door 44mm thick, with machined panels, original period designed bolection moulds and primed is ready for installation. The doors are a mixed softwood laminated core of pine and spruce with an resistent face. Additionally, they have acoustic capabilities up to 37db and comply with BS EN 100771 – 2006/12 offering thermal properties up to 1.6W/m2k.
A three panelled door with flat or raised and field panels. Often seen in the more prestigous rooms of the house. This door can be used on any room and installs a Georgian style to any home.
